• On some of the days, we will be at max capacity. 
• From the border, from immigration to Chinandega, two lanes are being repaved
• Sometimes we are lucky and arrive just in time for our lane to process
• If not, then a big delay is in store,please be patient as this is beyond our control
• We drop you off at the hostel of your choice, we are not responsible in how they receive you
• If you need a place to stay in Leon, we can book that for you.

Guacamayos Tour Services

Here at Guacamayos Shuttle service we try to provide you with the best service at the most affordable price. This post is to clarify any questions in regards to Nicaragua Entry & Exit fees. 

As you enter Nicaragua you pay for a tourist card which is worth US$10.00  plus US$2.00 Immigration services and once you leave the exit tax is US$35.00 but lots of the major airlines already include this on your ticket.

If you leave by land there is a $1 municipal fee (if you are at the Costa Rican border), and a $2 exit fee at the window.

Please have this in exact change in dollars or equivalent in lempiras

Please DO NOT try to haggle with the immigration officer, they will penalize us us with a delay of more than 2 hours. Remember if you are penalized, the whole group is. Please take that into consideration

D&D Brewery, Lodge, and Restaurant is located in the Lake Yojoa region of Central Honduras in the rural village of Los Naranjos. We’re within walking distance of Los Naranjos Ecological Park and Bio-Parque Finca Paradise, a private reserve. Also nearby are two large national parks: Cerro-Azul Meambar NP and Santa Barbara Mountain NP.

We usually have anywhere from 4-6 beers on tap produced on site! We also carry a number of imported craft and specialty beers from around the world. From classic ales and fruit-infused inventions, we guarantee a break from bland national beers found elsewhere. Beer not your thing? We have a well-stocked bar for all tastes—and be sure to try our homemade, gourmet sodas!

Amenities consist of a full-service restaurant, tap room, free high-speed WiFi, Netbook rental, guidebooks, laundry service, book exchange, free information on activities in the area including maps, and a swimming pool! We accept all major credit cards and even U.S. dollars.
